As an international student, tuition fee is always one of my significant concerns. Although I can receive financial support from my parents in my home country, I truly want to be financially independent as much as I can. They have reached their retirement age, so I do not want to put any burden on their shoulders. To be honest, high tuition fees have put a lot of pressure on us: the pressure to get a part-time job to cover part of the tuition fee, pressure to cover my living expenses when tuition fee increases, pressure to secure a future job that is equivalent to what I have paid for the tuition fee⦠And these pressures really distract me from 100% focus on my study and freely experience new things in Canada. This also remarkably affects other students in my home country, Vietnam, who desire to study abroad but do not have a strong financial condition to consecutively cover tuition fees for many years.
